The May Kit is largely made up of the Upstairs Down stairs range under the Ruby Rock-it brand put out by Fynmark Australia.

Monthly Scrapbooking Kit – April 2012

I have decided to put together a scrapbooking kit each month using the Fynmark range of products and from time to time other coordinating items.

The Fynmark or sometimes more commonly known by the Brand names of Bella! or Ruby-Rockit are released in coordinating papers and embellishments.

The first kit will be the Ever After Range. Beautiful double sided quality patterned cardstock with lovely embellishments that enhance your projects.

So, what will be in the kit and what will it cost?

The Complete kit

4x Double sided Ever After Papers – Now and Forever, Cherish, Romance and Fairy Tale (Photos below show the reverse side of the papers)

3x Chromatics Coordinating Cardstock with Linen look finish – Dove, Ice, Denim

4x Coordinating ribbons 33cm each piece – Rick Rak, Blue Pleated, White Pleated, Silver and white Butterfly/Flower Trim

10x Small Brads – 5 Blue and 5 White glitter

4x Sets of Paper Flowers in Navy and White (2 sets of each) – 16 pieces

1x Strip of Silver Bling – 10 pieces

4x Chip Icons – These will vary in each kit – not necessarily the ones shown in the photo. 2x white and 2x silver icons.

1x Packet of dimensional butterflies – 6 pieces

Now the price$20 for the complete kit Plus $7  freight or free to pick up if you are in Christchurch . Usual retail price for all these items in the kit if they could be purchased seperately would be $26.

What is the benefit of the kits?

To purchase the papers and then buy all the individual packs to get the above items would cost $63.50. By purchasing the kit you get what you need to embellish your pages, plain cardstock to mat your photos, make your title or use for your journaling and perhaps use up additional items you already have in your craft cupboard.

To start with I will only be making up 10x kits.  Unlike some other scrapbooking kit clubs you do not need to sign up for any more than one month at a time. Those on our mailing list will be notified as to when the next kit is due for release.

Upgrade your kit.

You may want to add some double sided tape to assist in completing your layouts – Usually $3.29  purchase with your kit for $2.50 and/ or Ribbon Glue – Usually $3.29 purchase with your kit for $2.50 or purchase the two making your kit cost $25 plus freight.

Now also the chance to win.

Post any or all of your layouts on the Facebook page during April http://www.facebook.com/pages/Card-and-Scrapbooking-Supplies-NZ/197402113631816.

If you don’t use Facebook send me the photos and I will do that for you. The layout that receives the most “Like`s” will win a scrapbooking gift. I will also add all the Facebook Layout photos to this BLOG.

Kits will be sent out during the week of the 26th March ready for you to begin uploading photos during April.

How to sign up for the first kit.

Email me and pre-order your kit – let me know if you are upgrading. I will reply and confirm your order or tell you if they have sold out.  If you receive confirmation I will also enclose Bank Account Details and ask you to make a payment by a certain date. Your kit will be couriered to you during the week of the 26th March and I will send the Fastways tracking details. Unfortunately there is no cheaper way to send 12 x 12 papers and I am subsidising some of the freight and packaging cost as freight charges have just gone up and are about to be adjusted on the Online Store.

New to Scrapbooking? Check out this site to gain some ides for layouts http://www.pencillines.com/ or Google Scrapbooking sketches and you will be amazed at how many are available for you to look at. I will try to include some sketches in your kit as well.

Now those additional photos – Double sided cardstock.

Now and Forever

Fairy Tale

Cherish

Romance

Card makers you are not forgotten!!
I am just trying to consider the best way to provide suitable card makers kits at a reasonable cost. Keep watching Facebook and this BLOG.
Of course you can get the scrapbooking kit and cut the papers up and you have the embellishments already in your kit.
If you do purchase the kit for cardmaking let me know and I will include  a seperate competition for Cardmakers.

Layout – A Day to Remember

This beautiful layout was created by Debbie from Christchurch. Debbie has used some of the Bella! range of papers and followed a layout sketch Jan/Feb  from the Fynmark BLOG. http://fynmark.blogspot.co.nz/

Isn`t this just lovely!

A Day to Remember

Debbie says “I hand made the rosettes by punching a circle then cutting a swirl out of it. Next I curled it around tightly then let it go to unswirl loosely. After that I hot glue gunned the rosette to a smaller punched circle as a base and flattened it with my hand a bit. Love doing flower embellishments that way.“ Take a look at a close up view.

New Fynmark Paper stacks Coming this week.

Hi,

Just thought you would like to know the news. Fynmark have a new range –  Paper stacks. Here in NZ we have ordered  the 12 x 12 stacks and the card making size stacks and they are great value.

The card making stacks will be $9.90 and the 12 x 12 $27.50. The first two designs in each size we have ordered are:  The Oriental Chic stacks and Wedding stacks.

Oriental Chic Stacks

Sneek Peek inside Oriental Chic

Wedding Stacks

Sneek Peek inside Wedding Stacks

Before seeing these stacks I was wondering how versatile the Oriental Chic would be in the NZ market but as you can see the pages are colourful and will be able to be used for any number of creative themes. It’s funny how you have preconceived ideas about how you think a product will look before you get to see it.  After seeing them I can’t wait to get my own supply.
Ok so any of my friends or family reading this will laugh because I have an over abundance of papers but………….these designs are super cool and………I am starting to use up some of my massive supplies of papers. Mmmm a little dent anyway!
I also went on to the Fynmark BLOG and looked at what others have created with these stacks. You might want to check some of the creations out at:
I know I get so many ideas after looking at how people use some of our products.

So, by later this week my order will arrive and the stacks will be added to our store and I will put the link here and also on our Facebook page .

Stella’s Cards

I just wanted to show you some cards ideas that were made by Stella at a Craft Group I attended yesterday. She has used various elements from the products on our website. I apologise for the bad photography but she had these packaged for sale and so I didn’t want to remove them from the cellophane bags, hence the reflections etc.

Using the Festive Ornaments Topper, Sentiments and some Peel Offs.

The Festive Ornaments are also available in Ivory. I just haven’t  had a chance to list them yet. Let me know if you are in a hurry to see these listed on the store.

Of course you are not restricted to a Christmas album. This would also made a wonderful gift idea for a Birthday celebration, a 21st gift showing the birthday person through the years. A beautiful baby album as a gift for mum and dad to put the photos of their baby in or what about one for the grandparents – a Christmas gift to someone who has everything show casing their grandchildren! !!
