Double Scalloped Doily Die Card Ideas

This beautiful die just arrived in this week and while confined to the house I was able to have some time to test the die out and think of various ways to use it. I love the ease of cuts from these dies.

Centre Step and Side Cards using the new Card Topper Pack – Love and Hope

I love these new Toppers. You don’t have to do much with them to make a quick and easy card. Add a bit of bling, some ribbon, flowers, whatever you have in your craft cupboard and you have a beautiful elegant card.

I decided to make my favourite style card (at the moment), the Centre Step and created the following. Then I made an easle card with one of the other Toppers and that took hardly any time at all. (Below)

Card Ideas using the Hearty Crafts 3D packs

I just couldn’t resist having a play with these new designs and spent a good deal of my Saturday creating! Up early Saturday morning as hubby is off to work at 8am so what can a girl do but – Create!! There are 10 different designs in each pack and each individually wrapped in their seperate packs.

I love them all. It would be so hard to choose a favourite as they are all so different.

Lea has used a Graphic 45 Secret Garden Paper to create the background for this card. She has used ribbon, lace and die cuts to give this stunning effect.

What a wonderful way to display this Hearty Craft 3D flower. So simple but so effective!

I love the Whimsy Stamp Dies that I have used here. Their cut is just so perfect and so easy for me to use. With Arthritic hands, I don’t have to struggle getting these dies through my Cuttlebug.

I have added a few other views of this card just to give you an idea of how it should look once completed. I will also add the products used at the bottom of this post.

Apologies for the darker photos in the above three. I did these early this morning and probably should have redone them but you get the idea.

This is another design that I did late last year for my Great aunt turning 96. She still keeps a lovely garden on her patio at her Retirement Village and just loves her flowers.

3D Owls and Flowers

It feels like cheating when you make up these sets. They are so simple to put together. They come individually wrapped with each pack containing 3 pieces to make up your 3D effect. Already die cut and glittered all you need is some foam squares and you are away. One minute - actually it is probably even less and you have the embellishment put together ready to go on your card, scrapbook page or other paper project. The longest part of making these embellishments up, is opening the packaging.

So some card ideas.I cheated a little here as well. Opened a pack of pre made card blanks and added some of the owls and flowers to some of these. Very handy for a card in a hurry.

Little Black Dress

I created this card for a very special friend’s birthday using the Whimsy Dress Form Die and the coordinating Stamp set and also the Notables 3 Die – links below.

The little black dress was inspired by a dress my friend wore to one of her sons weddings – she has four sons.

I love the Whimsy Dies. I find them so easy to use in my cuttlebug and the precision cut of the dies is just amazing. I will certainly be purchasing more in their range of dies and stamps.

The quality of these toppers is just lovely.

The pack comes with two A4 size sheets of card stock which you can either fold into a card,

cut each A4 in half and get 2 cards from each sheet
