This is such a simple card to make and it just took half a 12 x 12 inch sheet of cardstock for the base card. So 12 x 6inches. Leave a message on the Facebook page if you want to know the fold line measurements. I used Kraft card to make the sand dunes and added a bit of Colorbox chalk along the top edges of the tears. The stars are Peel off stickers. I have put a list of the products used at the bottom of this post. 

Step Card Front On

The Season’s Greetings stand up helper was placed on the first fold line and run through my cutting machine. A bit of tape to hold it in place is useful and any tape marks are covered by the cardstock embellishments.

Just another view looking slightly down on the card. There is plenty of room on the back of the card for any personal sentiments.

Step Card – Side view

This side view shows where the Stand Up helper is cut into. This could be covered with the kraft cardstock if you wished but it is hidden when looking at the card while standing and therefore I didn’t feel it was necessary. The card folds easily into a standard C6 envelope for posting.

Just One of the Three Wise Men.

Just to be different I have just used one of the Three Wise Men on this card. The smallest of the three.

I just really had to have a play as soon as this Penny Farthing Die arrived. So many memories associatd with this bike style. No, not quite that old but……….I do remember watching Hay’s procession as a child in the centre of Christchurch, NZ at Christmas time and then got to be a part of the procession as a bride doll on the Doll Shop float. Penny farthing riders cycled in and out of the spaces around the floats. Such fun!!

Then there is the Canterbury museum and the Transport Museum at Ferrymead where you get to see these lovely old bikes. So many other places………….memories!!

I’ll keep creating with this one and add to this section. Love to see your ideas.

I really do enjoy working with the Peel Offs. You can get such a simple effect with so little effort. This card showing the Christmas Bells is made using the Fundamentals Flourish Card pack and I love the strong white of these cards. They have quite an elegant look to them.
